Footpath Maps

I agree this would be extremely useful.

Still a few issues with this, I didn't know the XML schema for gpx files was so ...err... flexible  .
Will be uploading some improvements I hope based on what people have been uploading so far to make this more robust.

Nice suggestion, will add that to the todo list.

The reverse may also be useful.
to specify coords (GPS, Northing etc) and have the map highlight or center to that coords.
not sure if thats easier or harder, but thought i would add it

If you are having problems with functionality on the site then check the following things:

• You are using the latest version of your chosen web browser
• You have cleared the cache in your web browser
• We have not run out of free data for the day (a message box should tell you if we have)
• You do not have JavaScript disabled in your web browser

If that doesn't help then post something in this support board letting us know your web browser (and version), your operating system (and version), the location you were trying to view.

You can now upload a GPX file that will overlay the map.

Yep, this is quite annoying I know and is definitely on my todo list.

Working on the ability to upload gpx files to the map at the moment.

The ability to upload and add routes to maps so that others can see and download routes with addtional comments on state of the track / road suitability for walk, bike, horse etc.
